UNITERS, a provider of home furnishings protection plans and care products, is joining forces with European upholstery producers Luonto and Himolla to exhibit in a new unified showroom for the first time at the Las Vegas Market, which begins Jan. 24.

UNITERS will reveal an interactive experience with three-dimensional mapping to showcase its services and products.

"It's exciting to bring the Uniters brand experience to the Las Vegas Market for the first time," said Gordian Tork, UNITERS CEO. "The technology used in the new showroom reflects how UNITERS leads the industry in the development of customer service technology, protection plans, and home furnishing care products.”

Himolla and Luonto, European producers of stationary and motion upholstery, will feature a range of sofas and chairs.

"We believe that the synergies created by the complimentary products of each company will make for an efficient and exciting buyer experience" said Mark Litterst, Himolla’s export manager.

The debut of the 3,800-square-foot showroom in space B-628 coincides with the development of a West Coast distribution center to be utilized by each of the companies.

"The development of a West Coast distribution center allows us to offer another quick-ship warehousing option to our customers" said Harri Pakka, CEO of Luonto's parent company Pohjanmaan Kaluste Oy, Scandinavia's largest upholstery producer. "The additional quick-ship option is key to supporting the exceptional growth our dealers have seen in the past year."

UNITERS Chief Operating Officer Claude Bonvouloir said the more than 37,000-square-foot facility located in Reno, Nev., will be operational by the end of first quarter. Luonto and Himolla currently have a quick-ship warehousing program based out of the Uniters warehouse in Greensboro, N.C.

The unified showroom will also offer Las Vegas Market attendees quick charging stations for phones and other devices. A daily happy hour will take place Jan. 24-27, from 5-8 p.m.
