Update: 03/18/20

 

Greetings to Our UNITERS Partners:

We wanted to provide you with an important update to what we have accomplished this week to ensure the health and safety of our team members surrounding the ever-changing events of COVID-19, and to continue to provide on-going support to you and your customers throughout these challenging times.

  • We have implemented our remote working policy this week and have provided our team members with all of the tools that they need to be productive in their home environment while minimizing any disruption of service.  This is an important commitment to the health and safety of our employees that we take very seriously.  

  • Our Customer eXperience Contact Center is fully operational.  We are answering customers calls and emails, monitoring activity through the app and processing all claims as usual.  

  • We have been working closely with the leadership of our field service technicians throughout the United States to ensure the proper protocols are in place to continue in-home service at the direction of the customer. If they want to have service done in their homes, we are in a position to execute it. If there is an instance where an in-home visit is not possible, we are in the process of developing an alternative solution to resolve the issue. More to follow on this very soon.  

  • We are following the guidelines as established by local, state and federal agencies relating to respecting quarantined areas to reschedule service as is necessary.  

  • We are also continuing to fulfill orders for all UNITERS products from our distribution centers with the goal of shipping within the standard timeframes.  Should any of this change in the next few days or so, we will update you at that time.

  • Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team continuously monitors the events and adjusts our decisions and planning as necessary.  We are in constant communication with our internal and external team members to ensure that we are handling issues and ideas as they happen and are presented.  


These are unprecedented times that we find ourselves in. The purpose of this communication is to stay connected with you and keep you updated with the important decisions that are being made several times throughout each day. Providing you with exceptional service is a focus of all of us at UNITERS, as you have come to expect regardless of what is happening around all of us.
